Community Center

Events and activities can start as early as 8:00am and must end by 8:00pm. It is understood that set-up and take-down times will be earlier and later than the times stated.

Tenacre is a nonprofit organization, as recognized by the IRS; thus the use of the Community Center must be for charitable purposes. The use of space must complement our mission: “Tenacre Foundation is a Christian Science nursing ministry expressing God, Love — our mission is to heal.”

The space cannot be used for weddings, birthdays, or events to sell merchandise for profit.

Tickets can be sold as a fundraising activity, only. The Community Center cannot be used in for-profit activities.

The use of alcohol, smoking, and vaping are not permitted inside or on the premises of the Community Center and Tenacre.

Food is allowed. It is important to note that there is not a full kitchen, but a kitchenette that includes a refrigerator, a sink, and a small prep area. Food will need to be catered.

The Community Center will comfortably hold 200 people in an auditorium style setup. There are 200 chairs and 26 tables to use for your specific needs.

The cost is free.

Tenacre provides:

- the space
- the set-up
- take down of Tenacre-owned chairs and tables
- AV equipment with a Tenacre representative onsite for basic technology use
- and minimal clean-up of the space

A User Agreement must be signed by both parties to be in agreement of proper care of the space.

There are up to 55 total parking spaces – 29 on pavement; and 26 on stabilized turf, which will not be ready to use until 2025. Tenacre has additional parking spaces at the front of their property, close to the Gatehouse, which is a 2-5 minute walk to the Community Center.
